Android Engineer, Frontend Technologies

As an Android Software Engineer at Vinted, you contribute to the core Android architecture and shared libraries that enable fast feature delivery. You’ll help improve platform stability and scalability through tooling and build-system work. You collaborate with staff engineers and other tech leads, uphold code quality via reviews and testing, and ship impact across millions of members. This role lets you grow in a senior, knowledge-rich team while shaping our Android stack and developer experience.

• Design and maintain core Android architecture, shared libraries, and developer tooling to empower product engineers
• Enable other Android teams by creating developer experience solutions
• Collaborate via GitHub pull requests and code reviews
• Apply comprehensive testing methodologies (unit, integration, snapshot, UI tests)
• Observe how your code affects millions of Vinted members
• Work with Android, Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform and related tools

• Deep understanding of software engineering and Android principles and technologies
• Knowledge of future-proof software architecture and Android design patterns
• Experience with Android architecture, Kotlin coroutines
